The buyer opens an escrow and deposits USDC or USDT into a program-owned vault. Nobody — not even BingoSafe — holds a private key to it.
Deliver & confirm
The seller delivers off-chain while funds stay locked. When satisfied, the buyer confirms and the program pays the seller atomically.
Dispute if needed
If something goes wrong, either side escalates. An arbitrator reviews the evidence and resolves with a full or partial split, enforced on-chain.
Timeout protection
If the seller never delivers, the deadline unlocks a refund. The buyer gets everything back — timeout refunds carry no fee.
Security is the product
Security-first design straight from the specification: strict account constraints, explicit state machines, and no private-key custody.
Program-owned vaults
Funds sit in PDA vaults with no private key. Only the escrow program's validated state transitions can move them.
Stablecoins only
USDC and USDT for predictable settlement — no volatility risk while a deal is in flight. More SPL tokens can be enabled by governance.
Fair arbitration
Disputes are resolved by a designated arbitrator with full or partial splits, executed atomically by the program.
Transparent history
Every state transition emits an on-chain event. Anyone can audit exactly what happened, and when.
